Just before Christmas, Pantone announced its Colour of the Year for 2016… And for the first time in history, a blending of two shades has been chosen: Rose Quartz and Serenity. “Joined together, these colours demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace”, explains Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.
At Materialised, we always try to follow and anticipate trends, which is why we decided to create a special edition of one of our best-seller to showcase the Pantone 2016 colours.
“We chose our print design Palm Cove as it works well with fun and bright colours. Palm Cove in colour Pantone 2016 Edition can be a fun feature piece, for instance on cushions”, suggests Materialised designer Dorit Herrmann.
